Emla cream 5%

Active ingredients:

Lidocaine 2.5% and Prilocaine 2.5%

To numb the surface of the skin before needle stick or painful procedures

Usage:

• Before needle insertion (e.g. injection or a blood test)
• Minor skin operations
• Some types of skin graft
• Cleansing and debridement of leg ulcers
Medical procedures such as removal of warts

Directions:

Apply a thick layer to intact skin and cover with an occlusive dressing.

The numbing effect starts about 1 hour after the cream is applied.
