FERAMAX 150 mg

FERAMAX is an oral Iron Supplement. Well tolerated, well absorbed, virtually NO constipation. 150 mg elemental iron, reduced GI side effects. Feramax is suitable for patients who need reduced gastrointestinal side effects and improved absorption when taking oral iron supplements.

Feramax is best absorbed on an empty stomach (1 hour before or 2 hours after meals). Take Feramax with food if it upsets your stomach. Avoid taking antacids, dairy products, tea, or coffee within 2 hours before or after this medication because they will decrease its effectiveness. Take Feramax with a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters) unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Do not lie down for 10 minutes after taking your tablet or capsule dose.
